Dr. Bahaa Raslan, Ph.D.

 

Since his earliest youth, Dr. Raslan has concerned himself with understanding human existence in the broadest sense of the term. Certainly, religion and faith were and still are the prominent cornerstones of his life; however he tended to search out a much more interpretative approach for the study of people in general and in particular, analyzing men and women psychoanalytically rather than biologically. For this, Dr. Raslan chose to study literature, graduating from Ain Shams University’s English Language and Literature Department. He continued his postgraduate studies in World Literature and tackled a complicated theme in his Masters’ thesis: employing Jaques Lacan’s modern psychoanalytical and language theories to some of Shakespeare’s comedies. These new theories and their multi-interpretive trends strongly contributed to formulate Dr. Raslan’s affection in such a way that both psychoanalysis and language are now two inseparable pillars for his life career.

His continuing concern with human existence dominated the greater part of his thinking, on both deep and surface structure levels. Before and after this stage, Dr. Raslan had found his lost treasure in reading faces and seeking behind faces, proving to himself that his intuition had been and continues to be extremely accurate! In so doing, values and ethics were his predominant instruments to counter any misunderstanding or doubtful questioning in others. He still believes that those values and ethics have guided him to read only what he sees, while keeping any interpretations held within the black box of his tolerant conscience.

Dr. Raslan’s early to middle career concentrated on bilingual and bi-cultural writing. His strong language skills were put to use in proofreading and translating in many genres, from social science to religion, and, in the business world, from human resources to marketing and media. From the concise exposure to thousands of topics and matters, Dr. Raslan has spontaneously found himself fully helpful to clients through his devotion to finding the essential element to successfully fulfill agreed-upon missions. Oriented primarily to objectives and results, he easily accepts criticism and, in no time, becomes a productive member of the team, fully aligned to instructions. After having achieved all competencies of the originator who can cope with both the status quo and new occurrences with a keen and wise reaction, he founded a linguistic and training corporation teaching others how to take action and make decisions whenever required, and how to bear the results.

At the same time, Dr. Raslan has been a highly successful salesperson, with vast experience in all areas of consumer retail and corporate sales. He gained considerable expertise from working with diversified and multicultural talents and organizations, as well as from his experiences in client management—earned by working up through numerous levels of clientele and taking knowledge and new techniques away from every situation. Dr. Raslan has become an accomplished, ambitious, and award-winning retail professional, demonstrating consistent achievement of objectives, strong team leadership, and exceeding customer expectations thanks to his extensive knowledge of trends in the market, building a rapport with people, gaining trust and confidence, and excellent skills in negotiation on behalf of the customer. People have found him enthusiastic, versatile, a true problem-solver who can juggle multiple tasks while responding creatively and quickly with either conventional or unconventional solutions.

Now a senior linguist, editor, and projects and quality manager, he is also a distinguished tutor of natural and trustworthy characteristics, having the ability to handle audiences with skill.  His strength in establishing business relationships and his trustworthiness have set him apart.  

Along with his well-established multilingual, multicultural, and soft skills training corporation, Dr. Raslan is now working on his new project of press house and authorship where he believes he can accomplish his dreams of creating and producing positive assistance to interested people.  Last but not least, Dr. Raslan is prepared with many ideas for real projects that can contribute to human happiness—his most deeply rooted concern.
