Rev. Helen D. Wix, B.Msc.
Helen D. Wix is a certified life and spiritual coach, psychic, Reiki Master Practitioner, author, spiritual teacher, minister, and an energy therapist. She is the CEO of Tools For Business Success which teaches writers about the shadow self and empowers them to unleash their dynamic writer within so they can become a great blessing to this planet. The services she offers are shadow self healing, ancestral healing, personal development and empowerment coaching, energetic anatomy education, energy techniques for energy system balancing and clearing money issues.
Helen received her Bachelor’s of Metaphysical Science, B.Msc., along with her Ministerial and Practitioners certificates through the University of Metaphysics and is enrolled in the doctoral program.
As a result of severe early childhood traumas, Helen developed an eating disorder and for decades suffered from food addiction. Instead of remaining bitter and angry, she decided to heal from these traumas. She eventually got involved in alternative healing methods and personal development in order to help her get over the things that happened in the past. She is also grateful for finally finding the keys to freedom from her compulsive overeating disorder. In 2007, she took her first certification course in energy healing to also help others heal.
Helen wants to empower others by showing people how to heal themselves from past traumas like rape, incest, and the traumas we have all inherited from our ancestors. If we want a peaceful world, each of us must first make peace within ourselves. Helen discovered she was an intuitive after become a Reiki Master Practitioner and working with clients. She always seemed to know which affirmations to give them. One of her clients has said, “Helen is a natural intuitive healer. She was able to identify both physical and emotional concerns without my verbal consent. She not only healed them on an energetic level, she also provided me with other useful tools to help me get rid of my issues all together.”
For 30 years she worked in corporate America as a secretary for different industries such as financial planning, hospitality, engineering, property management, and law. But Helen yearned to be a writer. She now thrives on using her God-given creativity and writing ability to motivate and inspire other people. She understands that society does not encourage us to develop ourselves spiritually and, therefore, it took her many years to discover her spiritual gifts. But now that she has discovered them, she wants to help others discover their spiritual gifts so that they can help bring peace to our planet.
Helen is a published poet and has written articles, newsletters, a play and screenplay, and is currently working on a novel. In March 2013, she enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), located in Manchester, NH, to study creative writing. Her screenplay received very positive feedback at the Wildsound Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. As a fiction writer she focuses on spiritual material that author and script consultant Derek Rydall calls “enlightened entertainment.”
In 1989, Helen had dinner at the home of Roots author, Alex Haley, hoping to someday follow in his footsteps by becoming an author herself. That goal was achieved in 2002 when she self-published a nonfiction book entitled How to Survive and Thrive After a Layoff. In 1984 and 1985, Helen had three poems published in anthologies by World of Poetry Press. She won Honorable Mention in the 1997 Stage Play category of the “Writer’s Digest Magazine” Writing Competition. In November 1998, she had a play reading of that same play, “Daughters of the Dig,” at the Playwrights’ Center in San Francisco featuring four professional actors.
In 2007, at the age of 48, she decided to return to college to major in film production including screenwriting. In 2009, she graduated from De Anza College, in Cupertino, CA with an Associate’s degree. From March 2011 to November 2012, Helen took online classes at Western Governors University to study Marketing Management and specialized in Attraction Marketing on the Internet. She also studied at Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis) in Memphis, Tennessee. She has been influenced by experts like Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, and Louise Hay, just to name a few.
By going after her dreams she believes she gives others permission to go after theirs, which can only make the world a better place.
