Yvonne Farrow, B.Msc.
Raised Baptist, Yvonne Farrow spent 20 years practicing Siddha Yoga Meditation, an ancient spiritual path brought to the West by Swami Muktananda. She served as speaker, master of ceremonies, coach, program coordinator, and head of registration at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center in Los Angeles.
In 2000, Farrow joined the City of Angeles Church of Religious Science where she was first licensed as a Religious Science practitioner. She also served as vice president of the Minister/ Practitioner Association, worship leader and instructor.
When the church closed, Farrow became a member of the Los Angeles Third Church of Religious Science where she served as director of practitioners, worship leader, instructor, special programs director, and co-chair of Women’s Month.
Simultaneously, Farrow held a Professional Practitioner License with Emerson Theological Institute, where she was an affiliate member of the Emerson New Thought Center’s Church Without Walls.
In 2010, Farrow received a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science (B.Msc.) degree, from the University of Metaphysics, where she is currently working on her master’s thesis. She is also an ordained metaphysical minister, having received her ordination and practitioner diploma from the International Metaphysical Ministry University Seminary.
A producing artist, civil servant and community activist, Farrow sees her work in the world––in whatever form is takes––as Service. This is her ministry.
Reverend Yvonne recently performed her first wedding ceremony blending eastern and western spiritual traditions. The ceremony was, in a word, eclectic – having derived ideas, style, and taste from a broad and diverse range of sources.
